  2. Note: The cells were exposed to the extracts at 0.1, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1 mg/ml for 48 hours (SNU449 and SNU182) and 72 hours (HepG2). The IC50 values were determined using Calcusyn software for dose effect analysis. The IC50 value for raw P. notoginseng cannot be determined. For the steamed P. notoginseng, the IC50 decreased with the increase in the steaming duration.
