OPAE reduced NF-κB activation in LPS-treated RAW264.7 macrophages. Cells were pre-treated with OPAE at different concentrations (125, 250, and 500 mg mL−1) for 4 h and then stimulated with LPS (1 µg mL−1) for another 30 min. The protein expression of a p65 and p-p65, b IκBα and p-IκBα, was determined by western blotting, GAPDH was used as internal loading control. The mRNA expression of c NF-κB and d NFκBIA was analyzed by RT-qPCR, normalized to the GAPDH.
