Inhibitory effects of porcupine dates extracts and tannic acids on DENV-2 in Vero cells. Vero cells were infected with DENV-2 at MOI of 0.5 for 1 h at 37 °C and the cells were treated with indicated concentrations of a MBD, b MPD, c BDTF, d PDTF extracts or e, f tannic acids. After 48 h of post-infection, the supernatants of infected cells were harvested and subjected to focus formation assay in duplicate to determine the virus yield. The data were subjected to statistical analysis using ordinary one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s multiple comparison test.
