Effect of pre-treatment with porcupine dates extracts and tannic acids on DENV-2 infection in Vero cells. The individual extracts or tannic acids were incubated with Vero cells at MNTC for 1 h at 37 °C prior to infection with 40 FFU of DENV-2 for 1 h. Heparin was assayed at 800 µg/mL as a control. The inoculum was then replaced with overlay medium. The cells were subjected to immunostaining against DENV after 4 days of incubation. Data were statistically analysed using ordinary one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s multiple comparison test.
