  1. (A) Raw 264.7 cells were treated with RANKL and 100 µg/mL of tendon extracts for 72 h. (B) UMR 106 cells were treated with differentiation medium together with 200 or 400 µg/mL of both tendon extract for 72 h. For both A and B, the expression of respective genes was determined by real-time PCR and normalized with the housekeeping gene GAPDH. Results were obtained from 4 to 5 independent experiments in duplicate and expressed as mean ± SD
