Baicalein and 0.5% CMC-Na solution were administrated consecutively at the dose of 200 mg/kg once per day for 28 days. Rats were sacrificed on the 29th day after model surgery. a Effects of BAL on histological changes of retina, all tissues were observed under a light microscope (bar = 20 μm; 10 μm), and representative pictures are shown. Normal showed normal retinal tissue. CON, control group showed normal well-arranged retinal layers. COH, chronic ocular hypertension group showed local GCC thickness decreased.
