α-mangostin suppresses RANKL‐induced expression of osteoclast‐related genes. A BMMs were treated with M‐CSF, RANKL and different concentrations of α-mangostin for 5 days, N = 3. B BMMs were cultured with M‐CSF (25 ng/mL) and RANKL (50 ng/mL), with or without 2 μmol/L α-mangostin, for 0, 1, 3 or 5 days. The mRNA expression of those osteoclast‐related genes, including TRAP, CTSK, CTR, V-ATPase d2, NFATc1, DC‐STAMP, was determined by qPCR, N = 3.
