Comprehensive anti-HSV-1 activities of Fr.8.3. A plaque reduction test, B fluorescence detection experiment. HSV-1 fluorescence reporter strains tagged with EGFP were constructed to assess the signal value of fluorescence intensity, and then the inhibitory effect of Fr.8.3 on HSV-1 was evaluated, C real-time fluorescence quantitative amplification reactions (Q-PCR) assessing the DNA level, D viral titers of HSV-1, E western blotting. The results presented were obtained from three independent experiments. Data represent the mean ± SD. Statistical differences were analyzed via Student’s t test, and a value of p ≤ 0.05 was considered significant (*p ≤ 0.05, **p ≤ 0.01, ***p ≤ 0.001)
